Traveling...

Oh the joys of traveling alone with two kids... pretty miserable. I came prepared, I packed light, had tons of snacks, toys and the had the iPad. I was sure the flight would go smoothly. What was I thinking??? Did I forget I was traveling with a little person named Nora?? I will start by saying I love her free spirt and curious nature BUT those are not strengths on an airplane. I decided to take a late flight, so both kids would sleep. Well, no kid really slept and were both overtired. Jack was easily entertained with a special book he got to pick out just for the airplane, Tegu travel blocks (which are the best things ever- thank you Juli for the introduction!) and of course he watched a movie. Nora, wanted to crawl down the aisle, eat random people's snacks, and basically do anything that did not involve quietly sitting on my lap. It fascinates me how two kids with the same parents can be so different. Luckily, Nora won people over with her charm that no one seemed TOO bothered by her command of attention.

Seriously, if you have a kid that likes blocks- get these!!!!!

Documenting that she slept- for 15 minutes. That is a look of pure exhaustion...
